Description
The grows of Studies of complex systems revealed that they exist on many scales, for the molecular to the global, and in many different fields of science. Uninet is attempting to unify the variety of network theories which have been proposed for these varied systems. Applying mathematical techniques to analyze complex networks in very different areas e.g. genomic networks, food webs, social networks, traffic flows etc. The work packages in each individual areas will examine the methods that have been used to derive networks and their dynamics, which includes cluster algorithms, and Bayesian network approaches. Uninet aims is to reinterpret the original theories in new applications so that major improvements of insight are expected.
