2nd ICCSS & 10th EWEP will be hosted by the Faculty of Human Kinetics � Technical University of Lisbon, by the University of Madeira, and by the Institute of Sport of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (IDRAM), and will take place in the exciting city of Funchal, in Madeira Island, Portugal.

Because the major purpose of the congress is to present an outstanding scientific program, the Scientific Committee of 2nd ICCSS & 10th EWEP, has selected world renowned scientists from complex systems in sports and from ecological psychology and from many different countries as invited speakers and symposia conveners. I am very pleased to say that by far most of the scientists we contacted were eager to come to Funchal.

2nd ICCSS & 10th EWEP offers a truly exquisite scientific program that will include more than 20 invited presentations with speakers from many countries Europe, America and Asia. The program includes key-note addresses, symposia, thematic oral sessions, and interactive poster sessions.
Funchal is ideally suited to provide an atmosphere of true international spirit as the city has learned to be internationally oriented, due to the constant visitors from many countries, with a special attention to scientific tourism. Madeira is a sunny, lively, vibrant, fascinating Island located in the temperate part of the Atlantic Ocean, an island you will enjoy to visit.

The 2nd ICCSS & 10th EWEP will be an event that covers the main topics in complex systems in sport and in ecological psychology (in the Gibsonian tradition) in an exciting social environment, that extends our knowledge, improves on our practice, and widens our friendship networks.
